Reiki Courses - Detailed Syllabus

All our Reiki courses are taught by a Reiki Teacher Master, based on traditional Usui Reiki, with knowledge and teaching from both the Western and the Japanese traditions. All Reiki courses include professional certification and a Reiki manual. For all Reiki courses, please bring writing materials and a notepad. Reiki post-course support is provided.

The original Reiki healing system was developed by Dr.Mikao Usui (1865-1926) in Japan. During the last few years of this life he founded 'Usui Reiki' which means the Usui spiritual energy healing method, and this has become widely known in the world as Reiki. Dr.Usui practiced Reiki from his clinic in Tokyo and gave classes to spread Reiki. He spent his life caring for people through healing and teaching.

The way we use Reiki is termed Active Reiki Healing. What this means is we aim to treat conditions directly by channelling energy at the frequency needed by the condition we are treating. In addition we use intention and visualisation to maximise the benefit of the healing.

Level 1 and 2 - 2 day course

Day 1: Introduction, meaning of the word Reiki, scientific explanation of Reiki, history of Reiki, your lineage to Dr.Mikao Usui.
Reiki ideals, what Reiki can be used for, attunements, 21 day cleansing process, the main Reiki hand positions, Kanji hand positions.
Signs of release, grounding and protection, self healing, aura cleansing (Rei shower), two consciousnesses, contra-indications.
The law and Reiki healers, biofeedback, Reiki scanning, Jakikiri joka ho, Rei healing.

Day 2: The Reiki symbols, kotodoma, drawing the symbols, passive healing, active healing.

Level 3 (Master Teacher level) - 1 day course

Day 1: Uusi Reiki Ryoho, Reiki (Usui-do) lineage.
Usui Master symbol, using the master symbol.
21 day Reiki healing crisis, attunement biofeedback, Reiki attunements, giving Reiki attunements 1,2,3,4,5,6.
Psychic surgery, Western Reiki meditation, Japanese meditations.
Teaching Reiki level 1,2,3.
